If Covid-19 has reminded us of anything it's that we can't survive our medical challenges without taking care of our nurses, doctors and all hospital staff. These are the ones who are often thankless but continue to work to save lives, quietly in the background.
Pet therapy eases the stress that hospital workers experience on a daily basis so that they can focus more effectively on helping their patients, on saving lives. Our team of Newfoundland therapy dogs provided stress relief for close to 2500 Hospital staff in 2019
Medical workers are the quiet heroes. They are on the front lines of healing and our pet therapy teams are committed to easing the burden of these incredibly committed health care professionals.
In 'normal' days, our team of Newfoundland therapy dogs visit medical staff at the hospitals they are registered with as volunteers but right now, we're living in a unique time of 'social distancing'. For that reason, we want to make ourselves (and our Newfies) available remotely if you are a medical worker or know of one that needs a little joy and stress relief. We can help in a few different ways; if you want a little one on one time, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a personal facetime or zoom Newfie visit.
To experience some Newfie Therapy on your schedule, just follow us on facebook @newfietherapy and instagram (tiktok coming soon) as we work to spread some goofy Newfie joy on a daily basis.
