Are you registered with your therapy dog and curious about the benefits of joining the national Newfie Therapy network & team? We created this foundation to help our communities and help celebrate the spirit of the Newfie. We reward handlers for their time served and the extraordinary impact stories that they share. You can earn drool cloths, bibs, therapy vests, and other fun items. Learning to communicate with veterans is critical to be successful in your interactions with them. We ask all of our volunteers to take these short, free online classes to be able to better serve the veteran community.

We suggest our network of therapy teams use a turquoise blue therapy vest whenever they are working. The vest comes with a service dog patch which needs to be replaced with a 'therapy dog' patch (sold separately). We've found the best prices on Amazon. When you purchase one let us know and we can send you a Newfie Therapy team patch. Make sure to measure your Newfie's chest to make sure you order the correct size. Additional links are below
